Collaboration
We work in three engagement models: Fix Scope, Time & Material, and Architect as a Service. Which one fits depends on how clearly the task can be defined at the start, and how much the demand fluctuates.

Fix Scope
The Fix Scope collaboration approach involves agreeing upon the project's scope at the outset and completing the project for a fixed fee. This collaborative approach is beneficial if the tasks that need to be accomplished are clear and a fixed price is desired for the project. However, additional costs and delays may arise if the project's scope changes during collaboration.
A typical fixed-scope engagement is ourBusiness capability map assessment.
Time & Material
In the Time & Material model the work is billed by the hour, so the cost follows the time and materials the work actually takes. This collaborative approach is beneficial if the project's scope is uncertain or variable, allowing for greater flexibility and adjustments as the project progresses.
EA / Architect as a Service
Architect as a Service is a collaborative approach where an enterprise architect provides ongoing support and guidance to a company. This collaborative approach is beneficial if a company requires continuous strategic advice and support for its enterprise architecture initiatives.
With Architect as a Service, a company can benefit from the experience and knowledge of an enterprise architect without incurring the cost of hiring a full-time professional. This approach also ensures that the company has access to the latest industry trends and practices, as the enterprise architect stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.
Architect as a Service also offers greater flexibility, as the enterprise architect can be called upon whenever needed. This lets the company scale its enterprise architecture work up or down as business needs change, without having to solve it as a staffing question.
The most suitable collaboration approach for your company will depend on your specific needs and goals. Therefore, consulting with experienced consultants or project managers may be beneficial to determine the most appropriate collaboration approach for your particular situation. By choosing the right collaboration approach, your company can improve efficiency, effectiveness and ultimately achieve greater success.
Let's see which model fits you.
